The 567 is operated by New City Church downtown. New City Church began holding services at the Capitol Theater in downtown Macon January 2008. New City Church desired to be a downtown chuch before ever holding its first worship gathering. As a downtown church, New City desired to be more than just a Sunday morning meeting downtown. The desire was to be a vital and influetial part of the city. Space at the Capitol theater was an issue from day one. The new church needed additional space for Sunday morning children’s activities as well as for additional meeting times and an office. The search was quickly resolved at 567 Cherry Street.

Dirty is the most recognized voice in the middle Georgia area. His reign as number #1 has followed him since 2002! He’s an incredible show host and DJ as he mixes for his 5′Oclock Gridlock Mix each day. His passion for his job and great team “The Dirty Boyz” is his secret weapon for staying on top! Well lets see… upon graduating college in 2007 I took a job at an insurance company in Chattanooga, TN. It was a really good job especially for having just graduated, but I soon found that the cube life was not after spending a year there...

After setting up Peach Pundit.com, I set this site up in opposition to the Macon “Parking Lot Hotel.” After multiple requests, I’ve modified the site to be a blog about politics in Bibb County.Once on the City Council, it is my intention to use this site to communicate with constituents, post copies of legislation and other public documents, and be a forum for all things Macon.

I’m a Pastor for College Students and Young Adults at Harvest Cathedral in Macon, GA. I also work a 40-50 hour a week job as the Systems Administrator for a large company. I do the server stuff, network stuff, some day to day help desk stuff and even a bit of programming. But just a bit mind you.My family also works as volunteer weekend managers for the Ronald McDonald House. Typically 5 or 6 times a year we live there Friday evening through Sunday evening. Its a wonderful place. You should look them up and get involved!!!

Anything and everything about Mary Persons Sports, of Mary Persons High School in Forsyth. The Bulldog teams include baseball, boy’s and girls basketball, cheerleaders, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, boy’s and girl’s track, and volleyball.

David Hale has been covering Georgia sports for the Telegraph and Ledger-Enquirer since July, 2008. Prior to that, he has worked at the Albany Herald, Washington Examiner and Syracuse Post-Standard, but spent most of his time watching excessive amounts of TV, sleeping and wondering what cruel twist of fate made him a Cubs fan.
