Although I was born in Athens, when someone ask where I’m from, I say, “Jones County.” I’ve lived in Middle Georgia since my family moved to Macon in 1973, graduated from Jones County High School and Wesleyan College and have worked at Middle Georgia’s Country Giant, WDEN, since 1982. If someone gave me a house at the beach, I would be forced to live there part-time. I mean, the beach? I couldn’t pass it up. But, I would always make my way home to Middle Georgia, filled with great people, places and things. I’ll write about some of them here.
